About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to participate in a fast-paced grab and go kitchen environment. A Cook in the position will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals, ensuring that the food is of high quality, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner
• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
• Serves meals by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Label and stock ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Undertake basic cooking duties.
• Prepare simple meals such as salads, parfaits, entrees, etc.
