Compensation: New hires for this position typically start between $17.30 and $21.28 hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Minimum 1 year high volume catering cooking
  • Must understand cooking measurements
  • Must be able to accurately follow and scale recipes
  • Must have excellent knife skills
  • Must understand food service terminology
  • Must have a valid WA state Food Handler’s Permit.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibilities of the cook are to prepare meals from scratch following exact recipes and specifications using a variety of cooking methods while following all food safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Other primary responsibilities include filling customer orders to 100% through proper measurements, portion control, product labeling and staging methods.
