About The Position

Puget Sound Care is hiring cooks for all shifts in our 5-Star skilled nursing facility located in West Olympia. We pride ourselves on the quality care we provide our residents and comradery of our staff. We provide both Long-Term Care and Short-Term Acute Care. We are a very family-friendly company and work around a lot of varying life schedules. This wage for this position starts at $20/hr depending on experience and is negotiable and based on years of experience. We currently have an opening for a FT cook, with experience working in a healthcare setting with different prescribed diet types and textures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, understand, read and write English
Food handler's permit
Offer of employment is contingent upon background check results

Responsibilities

Prepares and serves food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations
Direct the meal service under the direction of the Dietary Manager and Regional Registered Dietician, in order to ensure that quality food and dining service is provided
Follow infection control and safety measures
