About The Position

Cook Full Time, Second Shift Cooks, prepares, presents, and serves food items. Ensures that food is prepared in a manner, which is nutritious, safe, properly flavored and in compliance with sanitation and safety requirements, and accrediting agency standards for quality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One to three months’ experience

Nice To Haves

  • Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred

Responsibilities

  • Cooks and prepares various entrees, vegetables, sandwiches, and other menu items using standardized recipes.
  • Assists in proper labeling, dating, and rotation of product in dry storage, coolers and freezers.
  • Assists in maintaining organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated and frozen products.
  • Replenishes food items as needed and prepares needed foods for next day’s production.
  • Communicates and coordinates daily with Food Service Supervisor/ Manager on strategies to accomplish production and maintain quality standards.
  • Maintains clean and safe work environment by cleaning and sanitizing food service area and equipment after use and following routine cleaning schedule.
  • Cleaning duties may include, but are not limited to: equipment, floors, walls, cook station and storage areas.
