Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience required.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for serving seniors.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Create Joyful Meals: Prepare fresh, flavorful, and memorable dishes that residents love.
  • Resident Connections: Learn residents’ preferences and dietary needs to make each meal special.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with dining staff, care teams, and leadership to ensure smooth service.
  • Special Events: Showcase your culinary creativity at community events, celebrations, and gatherings.
  • Willingness to help with cleanup and maintain a safe, organized kitchen.
