Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or High School diploma/GED with 3–4 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in supervision, budgeting, safety management, process improvement, inventory control, and equipment maintenance
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation
  • Proficient in basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • Ability to interpret bar graphs and compute ratios and rates
  • Must possess and maintain a valid company-issued forklift license
  • Required to use all personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Must have a full range of motion and be able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, taste and smell.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs; frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, and cold or extreme cold environments

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations by scheduling and assigning employees, and following up on work results
  • Monitor cooler inventory and product codes to ensure proper rotation and freshness
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline warehouse staff; plan, monitor, and appraise performance
  • Support team success by contributing to related operational goals
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile with system data to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by implementing layout improvements, inspecting equipment, and coordinating repairs or replacements
  • Monitor attendance and overtime to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations
  • Enforce quality assurance standards, hygiene practices, dress code, and housekeeping protocols
  • Lead shipping department activities to meet daily and long-term operational objectives
  • Track and manage cooler over/short metrics and product dumps
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager on daily product run sequences
  • Collaborate with scheduling teams to establish daily par levels aligned with shipping needs
  • Partner with Sales to address slow-moving SKUs
  • Communicate with the Transportation Department regarding load status and logistics
