Description Summary of Essential Functions Fully versed in all aspects and functions of admitting/registration/business office requirements. Knowledgeable of hospital’s policies and procedures, Joint Commission standards and HIPPA Privacy Practices as related to the Admission Department. Performs, organizes and delegates routine coordination of functions within the department. Meets deadlines with prompt, thorough approach, with ability to prioritize various requests and complete duties as required. Provides ongoing support and expertise through mentoring and assessment of department. Performs and manages routine and detailed coordination functions within the department. The duties of this position are not limited to this list and can be changed when deemed necessary.
