Position Title: Coordinator, Development Status: Full-time; Non-Exempt Standard Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Location: Generally hybrid – In-office Tues–Thurs, Remote Mon & Fri. Please note, this may change based on business needs. Reports To: Manager, Development Starting Salary: $43,000 - $48,000 commensurate with relevant experience Assigned To: Development Position Summary: The Development Coordinator supports Development operations by managing donor acknowledgements, maintaining accurate donor records in College Now’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and processing donations in accordance with established procedures to support effective fundraising and stewardship.

  • Ability to handle donor and organizational information with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Associate’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Raiser's Edge a plus.
  • Exposure to or experience with databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process donations in the CRM in accordance with established procedures and internal controls, as assigned.
  • Prepare and send timely and accurate acknowledgement letters for all donations to the organization.
  • Maintain the donor database by creating new donor records and continually updating contact information.
  • Participate in routine database audits in collaboration with the Manager of Development to ensure donor information accuracy and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Development to review and prepare reports and donor information related to fundraising solicitations, events, stewardship activities, and annual reports to Finance, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
