Identifies room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room on assignment sheets/workboards. Coordinates VIP service to ensure VIP's needs are met throughout the stay. Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Assigns rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb' list to Housekeepers as they occur. Communicates with Housekeeping team throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time. Guest Experience and Company Standards Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs. Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly. Contribute to team goals. Always follow company policies and safety procedures. To Become a Housekeeping Coordinator at MVW: Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days. Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
