About The Position

The Municipal Services Coordinator will provide support to the Municipal Management Group as needed and work to maintain and grow the existing municipal services relationships. This role is critical to the overall success of the Municipal Services Division.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison between the municipality and LRS as to assist with building a solid point of contact who can assist with any urgent matter.
  • Develop a solid and long-lasting relationship with the municipal customer through quick response times.
  • Create daily, weekly and metrics for the municipal division to ensure premium performance
  • Provide reporting in a clear, concise, and consistent manner that is above the village reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for the daily relationship between the Operations Team and the Municipal Customer.
  • Conduit between the Customer Support Team and Operations Team to ensure the proper level of service is delivered.
  • Handles the majority of the daily issues within the assigned municipal locations as you would be within the LRS Dispatch office with the ability to assist in any municipal issue.
  • Responsible for daily municipal services that are collected within the location that is assigned to your location.
  • Attend events and communicate with public and municipal staff to include service events (HHW/E-Waste), Chamber or Environmental related events. May include other types of events where support is needed.
  • Responsible for coordinating the special events with the operations team.
  • Work with marketing and our web team to develop materials both physical and virtual to help educate customers and LRS teammates.
  • Connecting with the Municipal Customer to ensure they have all assets necessary to have successful events.
  • Assist the Municipal Manager to ensure they are aware of the critical issues within the community that could become a roadblock when necessary to renew the terms of the agreement.
  • Creates a team environment with the municipal manager, municipal administrator, operations team, and customer support.
  • Member of the LRS Collections Task Force to ensure proper field suspension of service
  • Gather route collection information and statistics.
  • Provide feedback to the Municipal Services Team to ensure they have an understanding of our daily performance.
  • Build a daily operations checklist per municipal community to ensure we are providing best in class service.
