Job Summary: The Coordinator-Outpatient Service provides customer service to patients referred for assigned cardiac specialty services. Coordinate patient care services while serving as patient advocate. Facilitates the delivery of optimal patient care. Obtains medical records, schedules patient appointments, and provides phone coverage. Assures good relationships and timely communications with referring physicians. Assists with the implementation of new programs and functions as a program resource. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Associate`s Degree preferred. Minimum six months of experience in a medical or physician practice setting as an administrative support staff or coordinator position. LLU system knowledge and experience preferred.
