About The Position

The Trim & Packaging Raw Materials Coordinator supports the end-to-end lifecycle of raw materials—from seasonal development and data integrity to sample tracking and sustainability tracing. Working closely with Design and cross-functional partners, this role ensures accurate information flows across systems and teams. This role spans PLM data ownership, seasonal development support, and day-to-day operational responsibilities that keep materials, systems, and teams aligned.

Requirements

  • Interest in raw materials and product development, with an understanding of garment construction.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize day-to-day workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage information across multiple systems and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PLM systems (particularly FlexPLM) or MIRO is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
  • Background or coursework in fashion, textiles, or sustainability is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Own PLM and MIRO data integrity—train as an expert in FlexPLM and MIRO for Trim and Packaging, manage seasonal MIRO updates with Design, and input all raw material specifications to ensure accurate cross-functional information sharing.
  • Support seasonal development by updating and creating development charts for Design and cross-functional partners, issuing all orders with suppliers, and managing accurate FIS/QPS sheets for all raw materials.
  • Assist the Department Lead with seasonal trend research for board creation, focusing on trim, labels, and packaging; organize, schedule, and attend all mill and supplier appointments.
  • Attend weekly cross-functional meetings; check in seasonal submits and track all sample and bulk approvals; track and send packages; and keep the trim library organized and current.
  • Assist with tracking and tracing sustainable attributes for all raw materials and develop an understanding of JCI’s testing protocol.
