ASU TRIO Programs seeks a Coordinator for the Upward Bound Tolleson at Downtown (UBT) program. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Coordinator develops, implements, and oversees secondary and postsecondary academic advising components as well as coordinates the tutorial/lab components and workshops, conducts academic testing for all program participants, provides “College Planning” course instruction, monitors academic progress, prepares for and conducts “High School/College Success” parent/participant conferences, compiles and analyzes statistical data, and assists in various other related duties such as coordinating with and supporting other ASU TRIO programs which generate in providing participants with skills and the motivation necessary to enter and complete a program of secondary and postsecondary education. The ideal candidate must work well in a fast‐paced, flexible environment, provide a high level of customer service to both the university and external communities, and make strong contributions both as an individual and as a team player. Work location is primarily at the Downtown campus; however, incumbent may be required to regularly travel to off-campus to event sites as needed, and other ASU campuses, as needed. Transportation will not be provided by the department/ASU. This position is a Full/Part time position from Monday thru Friday 8AM to 5PM, evenings and weekends may be occasionally be required. Flexible work arrangements are available in an alternative or hybrid schedule but will be based on the work and the needs of the university and department operations and pending leadership approval.
