About The Position

We're looking for a Strong Copywriter to join our small but high-impact creative team. This role is ideal for a writer with experience in science-led, ingredient-focused, wellness, healthcare, or technical environments who can turn complex information into clear, compelling, and accurate content. This individual will support copy across multiple brands and audiences, including consumer, healthcare practitioner, and educational channels. The role partners closely with Marketing, Science, Legal, Product, and Business Development to develop content that is engaging, on-brand, and aligned with applicable claims, and compliance. This position requires someone who can write in multiple brand voices across our consumer (Tru Niagen), pharmaceutical-grade (Niagen Plus), healthcare practitioner portal (Tru Niagen HCP), and educational (AboutNAD) brands.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of copywriting experience, ideally in-house or at an agency supporting complex products or regulated industries such as science, tech, wellness, or CPG, including brands with proprietary ingredients or technologies.
  • Proven success in creating compelling copy across various formats—long and short form—on digital, print, and ecommerce platforms.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of copywriting work, including email, social media, web, ecommerce/Amazon, blog content, and preferably print or packaging, across digital and print media.
  • Experience using AI tools for content ideation, research, and drafting, while maintaining editorial oversight to ensure accuracy, brand voice consistency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with attention to tone, clarity, and impact, with a thoughtful and intentional approach to translating complex scientific concepts into compelling, accessible narratives.
  • Able to self-manage multiple priorities and workstreams with guidance and direction.
  • Comfort working with legal, science, product, and marketing teams to ensure message accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to write for different audiences—from consumers to healthcare practitioners—and shift tone and style accordingly.
  • Familiarity with Asana (or similar PM tools), Figma, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit copy across a wide range of channels, including websites, landing pages, paid media, email, social media, video scripts, ecommerce product pages, Amazon and marketplace listings, packaging, print materials, out-of-home, and internal communications.
  • Develop email copy for both consumer and healthcare practitioner audiences in partnership with the email marketing team.
  • Write social captions, scripts, and supporting copy for organic and paid social content.
  • Create customer experience content, including FAQs, support materials, and customer-facing communications.
  • Write product, promotional, and educational content for healthcare practitioner audiences, including practitioner portal materials, professional communications, and science-forward summaries.
  • Support longer-form editorial content, including blogs, articles, and storytelling-driven educational content, as needed.
  • Develop copy for e-commerce and marketplace platforms with attention to clarity, conversion, SEO, and platform requirements.
  • Partner with Creative and Marketing to ensure copy supports strong visual storytelling and a cohesive brand experience.
  • Tailor messaging to the objective, audience, channel, and stage of the customer journey.
  • Bring fresh ideas and thoughtful storytelling to support compelling brand narratives across multiple touchpoints.
  • Stay current on trends in healthy aging, cellular health, NAD+, and the competitive landscape.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to support ideation, research, and drafting while maintaining human editorial oversight and ensuring all final content meets brand, legal, and scientific standards.
  • Translate complex science and ingredient research into accessible, brand-aligned messaging for both expert and consumer audiences.
  • Adapt scientific content for healthcare practitioner audiences, ensuring clinical accuracy and professional tone.
  • Support a robust editorial engine tied to our proprietary ingredient with content ideation, briefing, and writing support.
  • Conduct thorough research into our industry, competitors, and target audiences to inform writing decisions.
  • Adapt tone and style for different platforms and audience segments, creating impactful messaging that resonates with diverse demographics.
  • Write in distinct brand voices across our four brands: Tru Niagen (consumer), Niagen Plus (pharmaceutical grade), Tru Niagen HCP (healthcare practitioner portal), and AboutNAD (educational).
  • Follow established brand tone, messaging frameworks, and guidelines.
  • Execute on brand transformation initiatives and contribute to the evolution of our verbal identity.
  • Write thought leadership content that positions Niagen Bioscience as an industry authority.
  • Work closely with our creative team and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, high-impact creative that's aligned, accurate, and timely.
  • Partner with legal, science, product, and marketing teams to ensure message accuracy and consistency.
  • Present content concepts to stakeholders, offering rationale for creative choices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality and meeting deadlines.
