About The Position

CAMP is seeking an experienced Corporate Staff Accountant II to join our Accounting team in its San Diego, CA office. This role is integral in supporting corporate consolidations, M&A and intercompany transactions, and financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, excels in a fast-paced environment, and can collaborate cross-functionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge in GAAP, IFRS, and multi-entity consolidations
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills required
  • Ability to navigate moderately complex intercompany transactions and multi-currency accounting
  • Excellent attention to detail and a focus on data quality and integrity
  • Effective as a team player and working autonomously
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment and with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or progress toward certification
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions and post-merger financial integration and accounting
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for multiple business units and regions
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory reporting requirements across jurisdictions
  • Assist in preparation of supporting schedules
  • Create intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple subsidiaries
  • Support purchase accounting and other M&A accounting projects
  • Perform moderately complex account reconciliations, including multi-currency transactions
  • Work closely with tax and FP&A teams to support accurate transfer pricing and intercompany allocations
  • Identify continuous improvements in financial processes, automation, and reporting efficiencies.
  • Assist with audits and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize workflows and accounting software functionality
  • Work closely with FP&A, tax, audit, and legal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
  • Support business growth, acquisition, and investment decision activities
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
