Corporate Archives Intern Corporate Archives Intern Reports To: Director of Corporate Archives and Legacy Projects Primary Duties: Under the guidance of the Director of Corporate Archives & Legacy Projects, the Corporate Archives Intern may: Assist in the de-duplication of physical and digital records. Relocate, organize, and catalog physical records and historical assets. Support metadata creation for unprocessed materials to improve accessibility and future retrieval. Assist in the digitization of analog items, including negatives, slides, photographs, and other formats. Follow archival workflows and documentation to ensure consistent processing and preservation practices. Primary Responsibilities: The Corporate Archives Intern will support efforts to capture, preserve, and organize materials of enduring value that document the milestones, history, and legacy of the Larry H. Miller Company. The Corporate Archives houses a range of materials, including records, memorabilia, photographs, art, and other physical and digital assets. This role provides handsâon experience with both analog and digital archival workflows, preservation practices, and collection management. Internship Details: 4 months projected duration $22 hourly Part-Time – average 20 hours a week. Must be enrolled as a senior in an accredited University/College or other relevant program. Must be able to commute to Sandy, UT office. Job Qualifications: Required Skills and Competencies Interest or experience with digitization techniques and digitization equipment (preferred). Familiarity with archival standards or archival best practices (beneficial but not required). Ability to follow established workflows with strong attention to detail. Sound decisionâmaking skills with willingness to ask for assistance when appropriate. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive materials. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated interest in a career within archives, museums, libraries, or cultural heritage. Strong organizational skills and ability to complete tasks independently. Reliability in following procedures through to completion.
