About The Position

As an Associate in Corporate Banking, you will have access to supporting senior officers of the firm. You will be challenged to perform at the highest levels of excellence and are rewarded for your achievements in a demanding environment, working with other professionals as a team drawing from the full spectrum of the firm's resources to develop customized financial solutions to meet the needs of clients. You will work with Executive Directors and Vice Presidents assisting them with all client activities (marketing, execution and on-going relationship management). You will be required to work alongside other professionals: as a team, they will draw from the full spectrum of the firm's resources to develop customized financial solutions that meet the unique needs of each client in the portfolio. You will assume responsibility for managing internal processes for deal executions, internal approvals, business aspects of regulatory reporting and ongoing management of client relationship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic credentials
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • High level of motivation, dependability, intelligence & a team player
  • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Excel based modelling and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel based modelling
  • Proficiency with research tools including Bloomberg

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of experience in either Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or Credit

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Corporate Bankers in managing existing client relationship and developing new client base
  • Engaging and coordinating with partners across the firm to develop proficiency across all products within the scope of Banking, Payments, Markets, Asset Management, Credit, DCM, FX, Rates, Commodities, Asset Management and Investor Services
  • Preparing customized pitch books and other marketing materials to help generate new business as well as review existing relationships and setups; understanding clients’ cash management structure and objectives to anticipate their needs
  • Preparing internal approval documents such as credit memos and committee approvals
  • Help with industry and credit analysis (review financial statements, listen to and summarize investor presentations, and support credit approval and documentation process)
  • Conduct industry and company research
  • Maintain internal reports including deal tracking, pipeline reports, and senior management briefings or memos
  • Help with projects as requested
