About The Position
Advancing the Next Generation of RNA-Based Medicines Supporting Market Access and Pricing Strategy for Innovative Therapies Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing RNA interference (RNAi) therapies designed to silence disease-causing genes. By leveraging advanced RNAi technologies, the company is pursuing treatments for a range of serious diseases driven by the overproduction of harmful proteins, with a growing pipeline spanning multiple therapeutic areas. Arrowhead is seeking a Corporate Counsel – Market Access & Pricing to support the legal strategy behind the commercialization and distribution of its therapies. Working closely with the Assistant General Counsel, this role will advise internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues related to drug pricing, reimbursement, payer relationships, and global market access. The position plays a central role in guiding the company’s approach to pricing compliance, government programs, and reimbursement strategies across U.S. and international markets. The attorney will provide legal guidance on relationships with pharmacy benefit managers, health plans, government programs, and other payers while supporting agreements related to trade, distribution, and patient access programs. The role also partners closely with commercial, contracting, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment with healthcare compliance frameworks and applicable pricing regulations. The attorney will advise on programs such as the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part D, and the 340B program while supporting negotiations, policy guidance, and oversight of third-party vendors involved in pricing and distribution operations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience advising pharmaceutical or medical device companies on pricing, reimbursement, and market access issues. You are comfortable translating complex healthcare regulations into practical guidance for business leaders and supporting commercial strategy in a highly regulated industry.
