Corporate Development Department Vantage’s global Corporate Development team is responsible for the Company’s value creation strategy through initiatives including sourcing and executing acquisitions to help rapidly scale our reach and capabilities, raising new equity capital, asset monetization, and leading organic investments in new markets and regions including via joint venture or partnerships. The Corporate Development team collaborates with our regional leadership and operating teams to drive the evaluation and execution of M&A, capital raising and other strategic investment initiatives. Position Overview This is an onsite position based in our Denver, CO office. Vantage is seeking a detail-oriented, initiative-driven, and quick-learning Corporate Development Manager to take on responsibilities across critical functions related to Vantage’s organic and inorganic growth strategies. This role supports broad company initiatives and involves interaction with key internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with our VP, Corporate Development, the successful candidate will have high visibility with members of our Executive Teams in North America, Europe, and APAC, as well as our equity investors and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an autonomous self-starter, capable of driving results without constant direction, and have a professional-growth mindset with the ability to bring forth innovative ideas and methods to benefit Vantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience working in one of the following industries: investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or other M&A / capital markets advisory firm.
  • Strong analytical mind and quantitative skillset, required
  • Executive presence and effective communication skills, required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in data center, infrastructure, and/or real estate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build financial models, perform valuation and returns analysis, and drive processes related to potential investment opportunities, equity capital raises, asset monetization, partnerships, and other strategic investment initiatives.
  • Manage aggregation of business and industry intelligence to apply and improve decision making.
  • Drive and execute critical corporate decisions, particularly related to returns, capital allocation, and investment strategy.
  • Make recommendations to the Executive Team regarding the company’s strategic purpose based on data, including capital allocation outcomes and strategic planning.
  • Prepare presentations for the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepare materials for internal review and provide regular updates to the Board of Directors.
  • Support the deal process from target identification and evaluation through closing.
  • Manage modeling and support due diligence processes by coordinating interdepartmental tasks and evaluating future potential markets.
  • Interact with key internal and external stakeholders to drive process and support broad Company initiatives.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments to facilitate strategic objectives.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
