About The Position

Legend Biotech is seeking a Corporate Finance Intern as part of the Finance team based in Somerset, NJ. Role Overview Legend Biotech is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Finance Intern to join our Finance team in a structured rotational program which will run from June 1st, 2026, to August 14th, 2026. This internship provides hands-on exposure across key finance functions, enabling the intern to develop a broad understanding of financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making within a corporate environment. The intern will rotate through multiple teams, gaining practical experience in financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of financial modeling is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with financial statements and corporate finance concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Analyze financial performance trends and key metrics
  • Contribute to executive-level presentations and dashboards
  • Support preparation of quarterly earnings materials and investor presentations
  • Conduct market, competitor, and equity research
  • Assist in maintaining investor communications and financial disclosures
  • Analyze analyst reports and summarize key insights
  • Support financial planning and analysis for corporate functions (e.g., HR, IT, Legal)
  • Assist in expense tracking, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Partner with functional teams to understand drivers of spend
  • Prepare variance analyses and management reports
  • Assist in commercial P&L analysis
  • Analyze business unit profitability and key drivers
  • Collaborate with business partners on financial insights and decision support
  • Support decision-making by analyzing financial data and summarizing key insights
  • Assist in evaluating business performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
