About The Position

Responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, and general support across all business units, including analysis of monthly financials, continuous improvement projects and capital investments to Managers, Directors and Executives. The Financial Analyst is important to Centro’s success by facilitating examination of the organization’s financial data to assist management, shareholders, and other users in making educated economic decisions about Centro's profitability and sustainability.

Requirements

  • B.A. in Finance, Accounting or related field highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial and management principles, practices and techniques preferred.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial information and prepare and present detailed financial analyses and reports.
  • Experience analyzing customer pricing and establishing preferred customer pricing models.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across an organization.
  • Ability to translate conceptual ideas into concrete recommendations.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to speak and listen effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to perform discounted cash flow analysis, financial modeling, statistical analysis and other advance calculations.
  • Advanced reasoning ability and able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and database manipulation skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting package (KPI’S, metrics, trends)
  • Analyze monthly financials and provide detailed feedback to business units on key drivers of performance.
  • Distribute detail variance reporting to management monthly (raw material, production and overhead functions.)
  • Create, maintain and distribute monthly sales and margin reporting, including price, volume and mix analysis.
  • Assist the Sales & Engineering functions develop and maintain pricing by customer and product.
  • Maintain and distribute monthly inventory reporting metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial forecasts and the annual budget.
  • Assist in the development of business units, product family and customer profitability.
  • Analyze capital investments using discounted cash flow, payback period and return on investment metrics.
  • Work with cross functional organization teams to develop costing models to support pricing to customers.
  • Monitor and update standard cost for production labor, freight and scrap across the company on a regular basis.
  • Assist with recommendations on action steps to improve unfavorable deviations.
  • Develop and provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
