About The Position

We are currently seeking a dynamic Learning and Development professional to join our team in our Richmond, VA office, to implement CoStar Group training programs in accordance with the business’ initiatives and strategies. Through various methods of delivery, the Corporate Training Facilitator will be tasked with developing crucial job and soft skills trainings for new and tenured employees at varying levels of the organization. This person will operate both independently, as well as in collaboration with others to effectively lead and manage classes, adapting to changing priorities and environments as needed. The Corporate Training Facilitator may support one or more phase of the curriculum design process for company programming and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • 5+ of experience facilitating enterprise Learning and Development initiatives and programs and engaging adult learners in in-person and virtual trainings.
  • Ability to create an inclusive learning environment and adjust based on audience’s learning needs.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Working knowledge and application of adult learning methodologies.
  • 10% travel (international and/or domestic) as required for business need.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Talent Development, or other subjects related to Adult Education.
  • Prior management experience to assist with Manager/Senior Leadership training materials and environments
  • Experience working in Instructional Design Applications. Articulate 360 preferred.
  • Working knowledge of LMS.
  • Instructional design eye.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate professional development trainings and provide on-site representation during facilitation of other programs. Programs may include new hire orientation, manager-in-training programs, and/or professional development trainings for Senior Leadership.
  • Enable and guide participant-led discussions around training presentations/materials.
  • Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document learning and development programs.
  • Develop training curricula, instructor manuals, learner guides and other materials and/or utilize purchased training programs that meet identified learning goals.
  • Cross departmental communication to develop new initiatives and improve learning outcomes. Groups may include Human Resources Business Partners, trainers or managers within function-specific teams, SMEs, and CoStar Group Senior Leadership.
  • Manage the learning environment for classroom setup, systems setup, course materials, media, and on-line learning
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Recommend modifications to course content to enhance programs, resources, and tools and the facilitation of materials.
