About The Position
To provide program support and general assistance as needed for a variety of Salvation Army programs. To engage and develop relationships with program participants.
Requirements
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to maintain confidentiality both in and out of the office
- Must have proper background checks and FBI clearances to work with children
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous work or volunteer experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and create general programs
- Supervise and assist during structured activities.
- Assist with meal preparations for programs
- Must have a valid Pa drivers’ license
- Assist in creating lesson plans
- Prepare devotions as needed
- Assist and lead Sunday services as needed
- Drive for outreach programs
- Assist in record keeping
- Organize, lead, and lead seasonal events
- Assist with Christmas efforts as needed
- Assist with office and administrative duties
- Assist with food deliveries and pickups
- Other support as requested by Corps Officers
