About The Position

New Freedom’s Correctional Services Supervisor is a dedicated and experienced professional who will oversee all client care aspects of the in-prison program in collaboration with Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry (ADCRR) and Correctional services Department leadership. This crucial role involves managing a team of clinicians while ensuring the delivery of high-quality client care and programming. The Correctional Services Supervisor will work closely with the Correctional Services Manager and be responsible for a wide range of client care activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily correctional services operations to ensure efficient, client‑centered care aligned with ADCRR standards.
  • Supervise staff performance, providing coaching, direction, recognition, and corrective action using just‑culture principles.
  • Oversee client care activities, including admissions, discharges, transfers, and overall service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively through the chain of command to address client, staff, family, and visitor concerns in real time.
  • Partner with the Correctional Services Manager to foster engagement, professional leadership, and a supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate across departments to exchange information, resolve issues, and coordinate services for optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accountability for operational metrics, client safety, quality improvement, complaint resolution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as an operational resource by supporting staff, managing supplies, conducting supervision sessions, and modeling professional, respectful interactions.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support our mission.
