Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Cost Analysis Intern. Overtime is available as needed. Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. Position Summary: Performs general cost accounting functions. Supports management with analysis concerning variable margin of projects. Manages projects as assigned. Assists with Inventory Cycle Counts and Reconciliations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program preferably with an Accounting emphasis, as this is an internship opportunity.
• Has good understanding of inventory types, Dale production processes, and reporting methods.
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and software applications including Microsoft Office applications.
• This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

• Update and analyze Cost Models, Price Costs, and BOM’s
• Assist in Cost of Sales Reporting and other Month End reporting
• Reviews cost of products and selling prices.
• Assesses the reasonableness and completeness of cost standards.
