About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to support our trucking companyâs parts and service operations. This role is responsible for assisting walk-in and phone customers, identifying and selling heavy-duty truck parts, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Prior counter sales experience in a trucking or diesel environment required
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and components
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient with computer systems and parts lookup software
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Valid driverâs license required
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone
- Identify, price, and sell heavy-duty truck parts and accessories
- Look up parts using electronic catalogs and inventory systems
- Process sales orders, invoices, and returns accurately
- Coordinate with service technicians and warehouse staff
- Maintain accurate inventory and counter displays
- Provide product recommendations and upsell when appropriate
- Ensure a clean, organized, and professional counter area
