About The Position

Conduct defensive CI activities in support of an intelligence agency as a Counterintelligence (CI) Officer. Conduct daily research to gather, assimilate, evaluate, and interpret information concerning intelligence, counterterrorism, and espionage threats against agency personnel, programs, technology, and information systems or facilities. Provide daily CI analyses for distribution to selected parties within the agency, the DoD, and the Intelligence Community. Provide input as required to a formal report of findings and recommendations for all unauthorized disclosures involving the known or suspected loss of classified information. Work closely with members of the Intelligence Community to share information, and collaborate, draft, and finalize community information reviews or damage assessments. Support and participate in the conduct of CI Incident Assessments (CIIAs).

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with CI
  • Experience in foundational defensive CI, including conducting investigations, inquiries, collections, operations, analysis, briefings, debriefings, training, and awareness
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Graduate of a Federal or DoD CI Training Academy

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis, Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
  • Master's degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis, Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field a plus
