We offer a hybrid-based position, with preferred locations in Arlington, VA; Syracuse, NY; Chicago, IL; or Princeton, NJ. We also welcome candidates in other cities on the eastern half of the U.S., provided you are within reasonable driving distance to a Ramboll office. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No sponsorship is available for this position. Ramboll is currently recruiting for a Country Workplace (FM & Real Estate) Manager to be based at one of our main US locations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in relevant field​ with at least 10 years of experience
  • Experience with managing facilities operations - knowledge of building systems, standard operating procedures, employee services, and construction standards. ​
  • Demonstrates a self-motivated work ethic and urgency in fast-paced settings, coupled with self-starting initiative, creative thinking, and strong decision-making skills. ​
  • Exhibits a high level of attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills​
  • Excellent in both written and verbal communication, possessing exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership - Lead and deliver the workplace services across multiple office(s)/location(s) directly and indirectly via internal and vendor team(s)​
  • Budget/finance management - Plan, execute, forecast and monitor spending & productivity efficiencies.​
  • Oversee and manage the country workspaces, including maintenance, improvements, vendor management, office renovations or moves, and additional workplace services as needed. ​
  • Communicate efficiently with key stakeholders and local leaders to keep them updated on facilities related activity.​
  • Manage the physical security along with health and safety compliance in each office location, working with Ramboll Global Physical Security and HSEQ to ensure relevant systems are in place & managed correctly
