About The Position

This position is an 'as needed' or 'when necessary' position and may have access to medications and/or specimens for purposes of distributing. The individual hired for this position may work any day of the week and any of the shifts needed. Transports multiple items that may include any of the following: medical records, lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical supplies, x-rays, correspondence, freight, and miscellaneous items to ensure efficient flow of information and materials throughout various locations as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age to meet auto insurance requirements.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Driver history must comply with Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability.
• Current valid driver's license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.

Responsibilities

• Transport medical records, lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical supplies, x-rays, correspondence, freight, and miscellaneous items.
• Ensure efficient flow of information and materials throughout various locations as required.
• Follow both structured and flexible delivery schedules.
