About The Position

To safely, efficiently, and effectively retrieve and deliver medical specimens, supplies, final reports, and mail between designated locations. Ensure the timely and proper distribution of materials and client supplies. Responsibilities This is not an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements. Employees will be required to perform any job, with related instruction given by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation. Pick-up and deliver specimens, supplies, final reports and mail, following established routes and schedules to ensure the timely and proper distribution of materials and supplies. (70%) Accurately maintain route sheets in accordance with established procedures and adherence to HIPAA regulations. (10%) Obtain client supplies held within Logistics department and provide to client as requested. (15%) Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies, including but not limited to tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water according to established procedures; maintain cleanliness of vehicle; perform routine emergency repairs; report mechanical problems to Logistics Supervisor in a timely manner; deliver vehicle to service station or garage for service and repair. (5%) Qualifications All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Requirements

• Valid class "C" California Driver License.
• Verification of acceptable driving record from the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Ability to safely operate assigned company vehicles and to meet established delivery schedules.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, customers, and all others contacted in the scope of employment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to accurately maintain route sheets.
• Successfully complete all required training to ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and PDL safety requirements (including vehicle safety protocol).
• Familiarity with CA State DOT regulations.
