About The Position

Responsible for transporting Bank-related materials and performing other various office duties; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.

Requirements

  • Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skill(s): Clearly communicates in English; basic reading, writing, grammar, mathematics and computer skills; moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; valid driver's license, as well as proof of auto insurance; ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
  • Experience: No experience required. Ability to work M-F 9:30am-2:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Transports Bank-related materials as illustrated by the following: a. Provides courier service between offices on a scheduled basis. b. Picks up incoming mail at the Post Office; separates and/or scans the mail and distributes both electronically and physical as appropriate; transports outgoing mail to the Post Office. c. Act as the primary person responsible for the operation and maintenance of mail posting machine including inventorying and replenishment of postage supplies. Works with supervisor to assure postage account is sufficient for mail demands and for non-routine maintenance. d. Assures the outgoing mail if prepared for UPS pickup as needed and UPS supplies are ordered as needed. e. May pick up material at an independent location as directed by supervisor.
  • Performs other various office duties as follows: a. Maintains Operations Center vending machines and bottled water dispenser making sure the inventory is ordered, checked in and stored properly. Cash sales are to be deposited at the Honesdale branch. b. Inventory of Operations Center office supplies and works with the appropriate person to order and/or distribute supplies when received. c. Assists with large mailings.
  • Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.
  • Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other bank personnel, within given time frames and within established policy.
