Hennepin County District Court invites qualified applicants for a Court Operations Supervisor position in the Scheduling/Interpreter Division of Court Administration. Under the general supervision of the Court Operations Manager, this highly responsible, supervisory role guides technical work involving daily scheduling and interpreter operations for a high-volume trial court in the Minnesota State Court System. This position is responsible for oversight of resource needs such as courtrooms, chambers and interpreters and works closely with judges, court staff, court offices, the public, and county and/or state agencies to ensure language services are provided and cases are processed in a timely and accurate manner. This position supervises a team of four calendar clerks, one leadworker, and eight staff interpreters, performing a variety of advanced clerical functions. This work requires the application of independent judgment and decision-making regarding scheduling and interpreter policies and procedures, court rules, and statutes. This position is located on the C-24th floor of the Hennepin County Government Center at 300 S. 6th St Minneapolis, MN 55487. This is a highly visible position with typical hours from 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday, and occasional remote work opportunities. Hours and remote work will vary with business need. In order to work remotely, access to a reliable internet connection is required. Infrequent travel within the Twin Cities or greater Minnesota may be required.
