About The Position

Tishman Speyer is looking for a Studio Ambassador to join our Studio by Tishman Speyer team in San Francsico. The goal of this role is to drive operational excellence and create a seamless guest experience in our space. Specifically, this Ambassador will ensure the success of all private events, while maintaining a profitable operation and highly hospitable products and service levels.

Requirements

  • College graduate with four-year degree
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, events, or operations
  • Experience in customer service
  • Financial literacy, project management and business operations experience a plus
  • Due to the nature of the role this position requires onsite presence and a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; Excited to wear many hats and handle several projects at once.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily front desk operations by supporting members and guests though move-in and move-out procedures and through proactive and warm service that goes above and beyond.
  • Ensure proper on-boarding and move-out procedures are followed for members.
  • Enhance the member experience by planning events, fostering community connections and collecting feedback on space and services to address opportunity areas.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party partners (building, facilities, F&B, etc.) to ensure efficient and effective operations and oversee completion of workorders.
  • Review and submit accounts payable invoices in our internal systems, and identify trends and ways to reduce costs while still maintaining our high standards.
  • Ensure education and enforcement of the Studio’s policies and procedures for all members – escalate to the General Manager when necessary.
  • Assist other Studio locations in Financial District of SF as needed.
  • Support the Event Sales team by conducting site visits and monitoring incoming leads through websites, third party platforms, and inboxes.
  • Excite prospects by conducting stellar tours and telling the Studio by Tishman Speyer story.
  • Maintain relationships with clients to foster repeat business.
  • Support Event Manager as a point of contact for client and all vendors from contract signing through conclusion of event. On-site presence is expected for all events.
  • Communicate and collect event details, guest list, vendor list and details, and paperwork necessary for building partners and help with Banquet Event Order creation.
  • Coordinate event staff such as hospitality team, catering, security, cleaning, electricians and engineers for load-in, arrival, and load-out.
  • Facilitate walkthroughs for clients, vendors, security teams, or production companies, ensuring all are aware of and respectful of venue’s rules and restrictions.
  • Prepare space for events by ensuring cleanliness of event areas and timeliness of catering setup.
  • Provide AV support by configuring and supporting audio, video, and virtual meetings requirements during set-up and monitor and troubleshoot AV as necessary during event.
  • When necessary, work with third-party AV vendors for complex AV set-ups.
