About The Position

Senior Star is seeking a Creative Strategist to help shape and elevate how our brand is expressed through digital storytelling, video, and visual marketing assets across the organization. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and alongside the Content Coordinator, this role strengthens the Senior Star brand through thoughtful creative strategy, engaging storytelling, and performance-informed content development. The Creative Strategist leads short- and long-form video development and organic social media strategy, contributes to marketing collateral, and helps translate the culture of Senior Star into meaningful stories that resonate with residents, families, associates, and referral partners. This role will also explore the responsible use of emerging tools, including AI-assisted creative and workflow technologies, to enhance storytelling efficiency and support innovation across marketing initiatives. Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in creative content development, video production, or digital storytelling
  • Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing tools
  • Comfortable working in Canva and collaborative creative platforms
  • Curiosity and experience in emerging creative technologies, including AI-assisted tools that support content development, research, and workflow efficiency
  • Experience creating video-first content for digital platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance creative storytelling with data-informed decision making

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce short-form and long-form video content across marketing channels
  • Translate resident experiences, associate culture, and community life into compelling stories
  • Repurpose community-captured content into polished brand storytelling
  • Support and evolve Senior Star’s organic social media presence
  • Partner with communities to capture meaningful moments and strengthen storytelling
  • Contribute to marketing collateral and brand creative initiatives
  • Monitor & Report on engagement insights to help guide creative direction
  • Support internal storytelling needs including culture, recruitment, and training content
  • Identify and thoughtfully incorporate emerging tools, including AI-assisted platforms, to enhance creative workflows, content development, and storytelling efficiency
