About The Position

This role leads the strategic vision and execution of creative design across digital learning products, marketing campaigns, and brand experiences. The Creative Director will guide a team of designers, video editors, and content creators, ensuring consistent, impactful, and accessible experiences for learners. This position requires a blend of big-picture creativity, hands-on design expertise, and strong leadership to elevate the organization’s design practice. The ideal candidate thrives in translating complex ideas into clear, engaging, and memorable visual experiences. Collaboration across product, content, engineering, and marketing teams is essential, as is mentoring talent and driving innovation. Requirements

  • 8+ years of creative leadership experience, preferably in EdTech, digital media, or education-focused industries
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creative strategy, visual direction, digital design, and brand storytelling
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with AI design tools
  • Experience creating content for digital learning platforms or products is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to lead teams, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for education, technology, and learner-centered design

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the overall creative vision for digital products, brand campaigns, and multimedia assets
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional creative team including designers, video editors, and content creators
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Content teams to align creative output with business objectives
  • Ensure consistent brand identity and user experience across all touchpoints, creating and maintaining brand guidelines
  • Oversee the production of multimedia learning content, including video, motion graphics, and interactive experiences
  • Manage external creative partners, agencies, and freelancers as needed
  • Monitor design trends, emerging technologies, and learner engagement data to inform creative strategies
  • Push creative boundaries while ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and effectiveness for diverse audiences
