About The Position

SUMMARY: Coordinates all functions related to the credentialing and recredentialing of health care providers with both hospitals and payers and maintains provider credentialing files. Along with providing administrative duties covering our Corporate Office front desk receptionist area and corporate level responsibilities to support the owners and Senior Management team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Onboarding and Maintenance Collects all pertinent information from the provider, provider’s malpractice insurer, National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) and other sources as deemed appropriate. Enters all provider information into database. Maintains accurate and complete records of each application’s status.  Maintains well-organized provider files that are easily viewed by Kidz leadership, and others.  Maintains a strict level of confidentiality on all matters pertaining to the provider. Credentialing Process Receives and processes all initial credentialing and recredentialing applications for Hospitals and Payers. Ensures that credentialing and recredentialing of providers occurs on a timely basis in accordance with industry and company standards and criteria. Obtains and provides hospitals with documents required for Credentialing Committee meetings. Maintains all credentialing and recredentialing timelines and schedules. Processes approval, denial, or termination letters. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.  Corporate Office Administration  Meets and greets clients, vendors, and visitors to the office. Determines the nature and purpose of their visit to then notify the proper department or individual. Hours & work shift Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. Answers and screens incoming telephone calls to our main Corporate Office number. Provides information and directs phone calls to the appropriate parties. Schedules meetings, organizes events, and makes travel arrangements/itineraries as necessary for leaders and physician recruits. Responsible for maintaining calendars with these events/meetings. Distributes, signs for, and receives office mail and packages (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc). Arranges for courier pick-ups  Data Collection / Maintenance Maintains company and office directories (i.e., phone extensions, email distribution lists, internal directories, etc.) Provide administrative and office support, such as spreadsheet creation, and maintenance of contacts database Executive Admin Support Proactively anticipates needs of Senior Leadership team related to meetings, projects, and deliverables. Make suggestions for process improvement as necessary. Composes correspondence from verbal instructions of superiors and independently drafts replies as needed. Works through project focused assignments directly from the CEO and CFO.  Other Duties Communicates with IT Team to help resolve issues in the Corporate office. Follows up on all assignments, projects as appropriate. Able to work on duties and projects both individually and/or as part of a larger team. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
