About The Position

Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Credentialing Supervisor to join our Provider Management team. You will oversee the status of the Credentialing team, schedule and prepare reports, monitor and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and timeliness goals and objectives. You will participate in ongoing projects under the supervision of the Credentialing Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 2 years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

  • Current certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for team performance in order to achieve accurate and timely input of approved provider information into tracking tool
  • Coordinates employee onboarding and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
  • Ensures provider credentialing process is completed in a timely manner
  • Responsible for daily operational workflows including communication with internal and external business partners
  • Ensures the use of best practice workflow and operations excellence
  • Act as escalation point of contact for any issues as needed
  • Assist with requests for proposal (RFP), adding new lines of business (LOB) and building provider network and credentialing requirements
  • Assists with resolving provider credentialing concerns
  • Recommends process and system improvements
  • Plans, designs and implements projects with moderate supervision
  • Evaluates data on all aspects of credentialing process
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
