We are 100% employee owned with a passion for growth and excellent service to our customers. We are looking for an experienced Credit and Collections Analyst to join our corporate team. Primary responsibility will be to review, reconcile, and collect on customer accounts to achieve desired results and acceptable aging.

Requirements

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred, Accounting or Business-related field preferred
  • 4-5 years business to business credit and collections experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills including negotiation ability
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Previous ERP systems experience required

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, update and maintain customer receivables to identify items for resolution within assigned portfolio.
  • Conducts analysis of customer financial information and credit history to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
  • Review information to determine customer/order hold status within your assigned portfolio.
  • Set up new customers and ensure various documents are completed in the appropriate manner.
  • Reconcile customer accounts to resolve discrepancies and seek issue resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve short paid invoices and chargebacks related to customer payments.
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with customers, sales, customer service and other departments.
  • Assist with cash applications.
  • Assist with training of Credit and Collection Specialist.
  • Respond to W-9 requests, prepare ACH forms from customers, resolve sales tax issues.
  • Work with the management team regarding internal and external audits.
  • Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
