About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Credit/Collections Manager to oversee the credit granting process and ensure consistent application of company credit policy. The successful candidate will manage collection efforts, control delinquency, and ensure prompt billing and receipt of money owed in accordance with established credit terms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of AR/Credit & Collections experience preferred.
  • Experience in managing a large book of business.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, interruption-heavy environments.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Excel is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing credit applications and sales tax-related items.
  • Familiarity with integrated payment processing is helpful.
  • Knowledge of sales tax requirements and experience with sales tax exemption certificates a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent persuasive skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and track delinquent accounts.
  • Monitor invoices and track payments.
  • Contact clients to obtain payments when necessary.
  • Generate reports as requested from management.
  • Process credit applications for management approval.
  • Research, develop, and facilitate collection procedures according to company policies.
  • Ensure preparation and delivery of communications regarding delinquent accounts.
  • Communicate the status of delinquent accounts to management.
  • Review accounts and recommend for charge-off as appropriate.
  • Supervise approved accounts charge-off procedure and report it to credit reporting agencies.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of customer information and files.
  • Track all incoming deposits and verify all have been entered.
