About The Position

You will be responsible for servicing customers and franchisees in a call center environment. You will communicate with customers on financial matters. In addition, you will input data to determine if a request for credit can be granted. You will interface with other team members or functional areas to assist customers with solving outstanding issues or problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. required
  • One year of experience in a call center-based environment preferred
  • Must be able and willing to work 10:30am-7:00pm ET shift Monday through Friday
  • Required to work on-site at Matco headquarters every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Ability to work remotely on Monday and Friday
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal direction and work well in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment which requires flexibility, especially around processes
  • A well-developed sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively via mail, email, and phone by utilizing proper grammar and phrasing

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in a call center-based environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound calls to input data necessary to establish a line of credit or determine that credit cannot be extended
  • Maintain professional interaction with all Matco Tools personnel, distributors, and customers at all times
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with the above mentioned
  • Maintain and promote a positive attitude while meeting productivity and quality goals
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to changes in processes and work shifts
  • Other duties as assigned
