Our firm’s mission to integrate our faith into the practice of law and serve our clients with excellence. Simms Showers LLP is currently seeking a well-qualified applicant for a Legal Assistant for our Criminal & Traffic Law Practice Area. This position involves being the first point of contact for clients and providing legal and administrative support to our criminal and traffic law attorneys with 60+ active cases a week.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a logical and organized individual who is a skilled multitasker.
This person excels and is comfortable in a fast-paced high energy environment, handles external stress well (situational and relational), maintains a courteous and professional demeanor under pressure and values teamwork, communication, and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
The ideal candidate should be very well organized and able to keep track of multiple different cases at once, as well as keep track of payments from clients.
Excellent writing and editing skills are required.
Administrative office experience
Experience with Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
