About The Position
Comprehensive Healthcare provides innovative behavioral health and integrated healthcare services to clients of all ages. What are we looking for in a Crisis Outreach Professional? Crisis Outreach Professionals provide crisis outreach services to clients experiencing acute emotional crises. They strive to stabilize the client’s crises in the least restrictive setting possible. They provide evaluation under the Involuntary Treatment Acts to include behavioral health and substance use disorders. Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 1pm to 11ppm / Friday 10am to 8pm
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Must be eligible for designation as Mental Health Professional
- Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor
- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
- In compliance with state and federal law, Comprehensive Healthcare requires all candidates to complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Please refer to WAC 388-113-0020 through 388-113-0030 for information on criminal convictions and pending charges that automatically disqualify an individual from working for Comprehensive Healthcare.

Responsibilities
- receiving calls for crisis services from individuals, law enforcement, medical facilities, & service providers and responding in the community to assess individuals for safety and gather information
- determining the least restrictive environment for crisis resolution and stabilization for the client
- arranging client placements for voluntary and involuntary hospitalization or detox services, when necessary
- communicating with Comprehensive treatment teams about clients who have had crisis contact and participating in safety planning
- completing extensive clinical & legal documentation for each call taken during the workday
