Make your tomorrow with us. The Anesthesia Services Director plans, organizes, communicates and provides strategic direction for daily operational activities for CRNA services. Collaborates with leaders to ensure that organization-wide standards of care, service excellence and goals and objectives are met for anesthesia services in inpatient and outpatient settings. Develops and implements department initiatives and objectives for finances, strategic and quality improvement plans, special projects, collaborative practice, and communication plans. Monitors the fiscal budget and capital equipment needs of the company. Formulates CRNA policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organization wide practice standards. Collaborates with Directors of Operating Room Services where services are provided. Provides input to leaders for developing and implementing agreements. Provides direction to site managers for growth and direction of services. Communication liaison between physicians, staff and leaders. Manages educational plans determined by annual needs assessments with HR. Ensures staff competency and facilitates enhancement of employee performance and fosters professional and personal growth through developmental planning and performance management. Provides anesthesia care by assuring the safety of patients of all ages while undergoing the anesthetic care and when transferring the care of the patient to other qualified health care providers. Documents for patients of all ages the response to the anesthetic in a complete and accurate manner. Participates in special projects. Assumes 24- hour accountability for operations, patient care issues and accountability for staff at all facilities
