About The Position
The Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and distributing daily workflow by applying established processes. They effectively deploy resources to achieve company goals. M-F 6am-2:30pm $22-$28.50 M-F 2:30pm - 11pm $22-$28.50 ($1.00 shift differential)
Responsibilities
- Monitor volume of restock and number of orders to efficiently assign tasks to warehouse employees.
- Understand internal processing schedules and accurately estimate time to complete the job.
- Communicate daily with leadership and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow through the department.
- Train and coach employees on production guidelines, techniques and safety.
- Interact with other business units throughout the company to achieve goals.
- Adapt and change priorities easily and manages multiple tasks/projects as necessary.
- Complete tasks efficiently while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Inspect assigned equipment daily at start of shift; responsible for checking out equipment and returning in same condition on a daily basis.
- May be required to operate powered lift equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
