About The Position

We are working on a multiyear contract role with our client, a global reinsurance firm, seeking a Cross‑Workstream Product Owner to oversee and coordinate delivery across multiple scrum teams. This will be a remote contract position supporting a large-scale underwriting technology transformation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
5+ years of proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale products across multiple scrum teams, with strong capability in backlog management and cross‑workstream alignment.
Background in underwriting, data, workflow, or claims domains, with a demonstrated ability to balance business, technology, and UX perspectives in complex program environments.
Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Drive alignment of product vision across multiple workstreams, ensuring epics and features are properly decomposed, sequenced, and ready for execution.
Lead cross-team backlog prioritization, refinement, and planning sessions using ADO to support story readiness and delivery.
Manage dependencies, RAID items, and cross-workstream roadmaps while providing clear progress updates to stakeholders.
Partner with GPO, Program Management, and Business SMEs to deliver consistent product input into SteerCo and governance forums.
