About The Position

As a Landside Cruise Transportation Coordinator, you will ensure safe and efficient operations by controlling access, directing bus movement, guiding passenger traffic, and providing customer service during cruise ship season which occurs from April to October each year. You will provide wayfinding to cruise ship passengers to various locations within the terminal and parking garage. You will direct traffic for all vehicles and provide directions to cruise ship bus drivers within the Northeast Ground Transportation (NEGT) pick-up lot and the 28th Street charter bus staging lots. You will check in buses and prevent unauthorized vehicles from operating at the staging lot by verifying and logging all buses. You will communicate with passengers, tour guides and bus drivers to determine readiness to pick up passengers. You will document cruise daily activities by recording all events into the Veoci system. You will log vehicle identification information, time in and time out for all buses entering the lots as well as passenger count and reconcile information at the end of each day. You will dispatch wheelchair and skycap requests from cruise bus drivers to the appropriate wheelchair companies.

Requirements

  • Experienced – You have one (1) year of customer service experience.
