We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Cryptography PKI Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Certifications: CISSP, Venafi Security Administrator.
• 5+ years of large-scale enterprise PKI experience.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following: Certificate Lifecycle Management platforms, including Venafi.
• HSMs and Key Management Systems (KMS).
• Cloud-based PKI solutions.
• Programming and scripting used with PKI.
• Automation of certificate requests.
• Knowledge of the following: Cryptographic algorithms and key management.
• Secure protocols and certificates.
• Quantum Computing and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards (GDPR, DORA, NIST, and ISO 27001).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions across the BNY Enterprise.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to determine certificate use cases.
• Integrate digital certificates with the Certificate Lifecycle Management platform.
• Create architecture, system build, procedures, and knowledge articles documentation.
• Respond to requests from users, Internal Audit, and Federal Regulators on BNY PKI.
