About The Position

Amentum is looking for a Persian Farsi Linguist (35P) to Instruct at Goodfellow, Air Force Base, TX- This position requires you to be on site Basic Qualifications for All Cryptologic Linguist Course (35P) Trainers Must have a TS/SCI or TS Interim clearance. The contractor shall have at least a level 2 proficiency of “limited working proficiency” according to the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR). This may be verified by a Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) if the test was administered while the applicant was a DOD employee and within the land 12 months by a score of 2 or higher on both the Reading and Listening tests. If no DLPT score is available, the applicant should contact the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language for civilian tests that provide IRL Level 2 Verification. Contractors may be required to submit to and pass a counterintelligence polygraph (CSP) IAW AR 381-20 in order to develop or teach certain blocks of instruction. Contractor employees who refuse to take a CSP or who do not obtain a favorable result shall not perform on this contract. Contractors who have previously failed a CSP will be denied access to Secure Compartmented Information Facilities. Must possess a minimum of an associate degree from a regionally or nationally accredited postsecondary institution. Basic Qualifications for Intermediate 35P Trainers Must have 4 years of MOS operational experience as Cryptologic Linguist (U.S. Army MOS 35P / U.S. Air Force AFSC 1N3 / 1A8), or U.S. Marine Corps specialties in support of authorized intelligence activities as defined by AR 381-10 within the last ten years. The contractor must have completed one of the military courses; 35P, WOBC, WOAC. Basic Qualifications for Senior 35P trainers m ust have 6 years of MOS operational experience as Cryptologic Linguist (U.S. Army MOS 35P / U.S. Air Force AFSC 1N3 / 1A8), or U.S. Marine Corps specialties in support of authorized intelligence activities as defined by AR 381-10 within the last ten years. The contractor must have completed one of the military courses; 35P ALC, or WOBC, WOAC.
