The Central Service/Sterile Processing Department (CS/SPD) plays a key role in how our operating rooms care for our patients as a whole team relies on these caregivers to successfully set up the operating room. As a CS/SPD Services Assistant, you will be responsible for testing equipment, running diagnostics, pulling case carts, putting away surgical supplies and providing dispatch services. A caregiver in this position works evenings from 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be comfortable with fast-paced, high-volume environment and lifting up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• One year health care experience or similar background in mechanical/manufacturing assembly

Responsibilities

• Run daily diagnostic reports and conduct equipment tests.
• Retrieve pull sheets and follow step-by-step instructions when pulling and recording case carts.
• Sock and rotate supplies and equipment.
• Deliver, retrieve and return case carts and other supplies to designated areas.
