About The Position

A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled CT / MRI Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform advanced imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic results. This role requires collaboration with physicians and clinical staff to support effective patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program .
  • ARRT Certifications required: Radiography – ARRT (R) Computed Tomography – ARRT (CT) Magnetic Resonance Imaging – ARRT (MRI)
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Active state license required.
  • Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience required .

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PACS, RIS/HIS, and electronic health record systems preferred.
  • 2+ years of CT and MRI experience preferred .

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI and CT imaging procedures following departmental protocols and safety standards.
  • Support additional radiographic procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR imaging when required.
  • Ensure radiation safety in compliance with ALARA principles .
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers for maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within EHR/PACS systems.
  • Ensure appropriate charging of procedures and supplies in the system.
  • Assist with patient transport, clerical tasks, and phone support as needed.
  • Support staff training and cross-training initiatives.
  • Manage imaging supplies and inventory .
  • Maintain flexibility with scheduling including overtime, call coverage, and holidays if required .
